Activating Community Resilience Forum – Pinery Fires in 2015
The Torrens Resilience Institute, Flinders University is currently undertaking a research project entitled ‘Activating Community Resilience‘. This research is being undertaken to study the ways emergency services cooperate with communities during disasters and is funded by the South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission. The findings of this research will help emergency services to work more effectively with communities in the future. As part of this project we are holding a forum at the Hamley Bridge Institute to discuss the Pinery Fires in 2015. We are looking for participants who were directly impacted by the 2015 fires to take part in this group discussion. We would be very appreciative if you could share this event to you page, or if you could point us in the direction of other appropriate groups.
