Hamley Bridge Community Association Christmas Party Parade Registration Form 2024

INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW:

You can enter the parade with a float, a bicycle, a trolley, pram etc or get a group together and walk in the parade with a banner.

  • The judges will be looking for the best float in the parade, the best walking group, entrants that have that something special; so have fun and go all out with your decorations. Floats need to decorated to be eligible for participation in the judging for prizes, i.e. a car with a few streamers attached will not be considered for the prize.
  • Make sure everything on your float is well secured so nothing falls off and spoils your entry or someone’s enjoyment of the parade.
  • Groups can walk in the parade without a float including children on bicycles and parents with children in prams and so on. Children to wear helmets on bicycles and horses.
  • Remember the party and parade is first and foremost for the children in the community, so keep it nice.
  • If you want to hand out lollies or something else, have someone walk alongside your float to hand out things. We don’t want children running up to moving vehicles to pick things up off the road. We need to keep them safe.
  • Follow the Parade Marshalls instructions at all times including stopping and starting when required to do so and not travelling above 10 km.
