November Fire
Our beautifull town wrapped in despair
As we look around at whats no longer there
A viscous fire, took our peace and tranquility
Destroying so much. Taking our visibility
It moved so fast no warning bells sounded
We stood and we watched totally astounded
The town plummeted into darkness with thick black cloud
The eiree sounds of Sirens so many, so loud
It gave no distinction on the havoc it swept
People in shock, People just wept
Our surrounds now are barron and bare
Lots of houses and buildings are no longer there
It wasnt happy with the havoc and strive
It went on boldly to take away life
People stock wildlife and birds
It didnt worry about whom it hurts
As we fight our way out of this fire from hell
Other areas are feeling it, as well
Outside communities are donating assistance
With food and clothes some from a great distance
It will take a while to come to terms with this grief
Mother nature turned into a horrible theif
We will strive on thru and take strength, from each others pain
Our town may not be quite the same
But the spirit of its townfolk will again return
We have lived through horror and from this we will learn.
